Jun-kun is one of six winners for the 2008 GQ Men of the Year, Japanese edition. He won the Singer/Actor Category due to his prodigious record for this year, this includes:
- Hana Yori Dango Final’s awesome record.
- Being a member of Arashi and winning the Oricon’s Annual Sales Ranking Award ( Truth/One Love singles -most sold).
- Held the AAA and 5 domes in Japan tours, and being the third artist to hold concerts in Kokuritsu (member of Arashi).
