I admit that most Chinese singers now-in-days rely too heavy on looks that talent. This is especially true for the Hong Kong ones, in my opinion at least. Thus, I have shy-away from CPop for a long time now. It’s quite a shame, the one spectacular industry is dying without an heir. It is quite hard to pinpoint a newbie that can stand up along side with the legends like Sam Hui, Paula Tsui, Alan Tam, etc. Though, they might become popular, however, the quality just is not the same as it was before. Gomen for my rambling
, just had to voice it.

Anyway, this comes to Shi Xin Hui/Sin Huey (石欣卉), a new singer from Singapore..well, to me least. I was first introduced when someone posted 命中注定 (Fated), the Chinese version of Arashi’s We can make it! (not translation, just another artist using the music). **It’s a wonderful piece of work, soo many artists have used it as a cover. Out of curiosity, I had downloaded it. Of course, I was going to be bias, no one can out do my Arashi…hehe…. To my surprise, she did justice to the song and have come to a liking along with a few other of hers.
石欣卉 has amazing vocals, quite powerful and unique. Her newest album, 女皇, is a nice compilation, displaying a good range of her singing ability and provides an emotionally polished presentation. Along from 命中注定, I especially like 女皇驾到.
