Pixar’s new movie, Up
I’ve been a big fan of Pixar since the day I received my Toy Story DVD. Pixer has always been a pioneer in offering multi-layered entertainment, an element that is missing in other animations. The new one certainly looks promising, love the humor and interaction between the elderly gentlemen and little plump boy, quite cute. I have a feeling that the story will be heartwarming and funny. I’m probably wait for the DVD or Blu-ray to be released, haven’t been a movie-goer lately. Movie will be airing in theaters on May 29th.
Synopsis from The Pixer Blog:
Up is described as a “comedic adventure” starring a 78-year man named Carl Fredricksen, who’s “spent his entire life dreaming of exploring the globe and experiencing life to its fullest”. Due to his age, he thinks life has “passed him by”. One day, however, a “twist of fate”, and an 8-year old “Wilderness Explorer” named Russell, changes his outlook on life. The pair go on adventures, encountering “wild terrain”, “unexpected villains” and “jungle creatures”.
