On Fuji Television, the “2010 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships” will be broadcasted for 5 nights in a row, and Arashi member, Aiba Masaki has been chosen as a navigator for the championship, now for the 2nd year in a row.

This year, Aiba will go to Rotterdam where the championship will take place. He also visited the training grounds of Japan’s varsity team which was held in September, and interviewed them. Aiba commented, “I feel extremely high about it. I hope I can report something that you can only report from the actual site.”

Idol group Arashi’s member Masami Aiba had his first boxing challenge in the new CM “BOXING” of the medicine for insect sting. He was instructed with a lot of secret tips from the legendary former world champion Yoko Gushiken who defended his championship for 13 times. So in the CM Aiba was able to show the KO punches one after another.

Aiba, who is known for his kind and friendly personality, hit the sandbag single-minded with one-two punch of sharp jab and straight before the final powerful right hook, keeping a cool expression on the face.

After watching more than 200 punches of himself in the shooting, he commented: “It seems that I become stronger somehow.” The 1st chapter “The man who fits Muhi best in Japan” of the new CM has already been on air. Can Aiba “KO” fans by his charm with double CMs?!

It has been confirmed that Aiba-chan has been casted in a new stageplay, it’s titled Kimi to Miru Sen no Yume (The Thousand Dreams I Dream With You). It will be from 5/2 to 5/24 at The Globe Tokyo. On the website, a brief synopsis has been added:

激しい交通事故後、昏睡状態で慌ただしく病院に運び込まれる一人の男がいる。
一緒に駆け込んできたのは池辺春也。

男が集中治療室に運び込まれて処置を受ける中、
春也の妹、友達、そして春也の恋人の小野美智子が駆けつけた。

そのとき、春也はようやく事態に気づく。
ここにいる生死の境をさまよっている男。

「もしかして俺？」。

事故のとき何があったのか思い出せない春也は、思い出の日々をたどっていく。

それぞれのきずなを確かめ、そしてついに事故の真相にたどりつく・・・。

Here’s my rough translation:

After a severe traffic accident, a man was rushed to the hospital in the state of emergency. He who had already fallen into a coma was Ikebe Haruya.

Due to his condition, he was transported to the intensive care unit. While receiving treatment, Haruya’s younger sister, friends, and girlfriend (Ono Mitiko) have arrived frantically.

At that time, Haruya is finally aware of his situation.
This man is between the verge of life and death.

“Could this be me?”

Haruya could not recall the actual events that had occurred at the time of the accident.

Upon confirming his ties with each person in pursuit of recollecting his life, he comes upon the truth behind his accident….

This sounds very intriguing and hope all goes well. I’m quite impressed by the title (The Thousand Dreams I Dream With You), it sure holds much meaning and enough to make one flair! Ganbatte, Aiba-chan!!
