Just finished watching this amazing anime and looking forward to the movie. It will be airing in theater in Japan around November, I probably wouldn’t be able to see until 2010. Aww, such a long wait!

Looks like this is going to nicely wrap-up the anime series since it had left a huge cliffhanger and have been dying to find out what happens. Production IG has been impressive so far, I’m sure this will end wonderfully.

It has been announced on narutospot.net and narutobase.net that an 1-hour long anime special will be dedicated to Kakashi Gaiden, which explains Kakashi’s past. It has been confirmed by Shonen Jump and will be airing on July 30th in Japan, as noted on both sites.

I’m extremely excited, this would be the most anticipated moment in Naruto anime! I wonder who the seiyū for Yondaime would be, cannot wait for the scenes with Rin and Obito.

I have to admit that Kakashi is the my favorite character in series. What is there not to love about him! I adore his mysterious aura, laid-back yet serious attitude, and openness of his addiction to イチャイチャ, Icha Icha – a series of erotic novels.

I’ve been on a manga-binge lately, had finished Hot Gimmick and caught up with Ouran HS Club and Nana. Then, I had started with Arakure. Yeah, you can probably tell that I’m a huge shojo manga fan. Anyway, I wanted to take a mini break and decided to review my what-to-see list. My weekend anime journey began last night on the following four, which I have come to a liking to:

Bokura ga ita
Genres: comedy, drama, romance, slice of life

Summary:

The start of high school life. To the girls, that also meant the start of their love lives. For brand new first year student, Takahashi Nanami (Nana for short), it was no different… She happens to end up in the same class as the incredibly popular Yano Motoharu, who rumors say that two thirds of all the girls are guaranteed to fall in love with. But will that hold true for Nana, who says that if she had to choose between like or dislike, she’d say she dislikes him!?

Higashi no Eden

Summary:

On November 22, 2010 ten missiles strike against uninhabited areas of Japan, claiming no victims. This apparent terrorist act is referred to as “Careless Monday” and disregarded by most people. The series begins three months later, with a young Japanese woman named Saki Morimi visiting Washington D.C. as part of her graduation trip. When she gets into trouble, a mysterious Japanese man, who introduces himself as Akira Takizawa, helps her through it. The man appears to have no memory and is completely naked, carrying only a gun and a cell phone charged with 8.2 billion yen in digital money.[1] The cell phone has the phrase, noblesse oblige (“nobility obligates” or “noble’s obligation” in English), printed on it. While they are coming back to Japan, they learn that a new missile attack has taken place in their country.

Summary:

Nicoletta is a young woman who decides to go to Rome to see her mother who left her when she was a child. she plans to tell her mother`s lover(a resurant owner who will not marry a divorced woman)that her mother was once married. Nicoletta latter struggles to understand her feeling for Claudio(an older man) who works at the restaurant.

Fruits Basket
Genres: comedy, drama, romance, supernatural

Summary:

Tohru Honda is 16 year old orphaned girl who gets invited to live in the house of her classmate, the handsome boy Sohma Yuki, and his cousins, 16 year old Kyo and 27 year old Shigure. However, these young men and parts of the rest of their family (both close and distant) hold a curse; if they are hugged by the opposite gender, they transform into animals of the Chinese Zodiac. Everyday is an adventure for sweet Tohru, as she gets to know everyone in the large family better (especially Yuki and Kyo), in both common and bizarre situations. But, the Sohma Family curse is certainly no laughing matter… it also holds horrible cruelty and heartbreak.

I’m quite psyched about the anime to be aired for the Fall season, which begins this week. I’ve been expecting Nodame Cantabile and Clannad since early summer, so happy that the countdown is to single digits now.

After playing Tales of the Abyss, seeing it in anime would be a delight, it would be a wonderful refresher of the story, as well as, hearing the characters be portrayed with their Japanese voices.

Hakushaku to Yousei is a new additional — the story sounds interesting, it would be a good start to watch something with a Victorian setting.

Summary
The story is set in 19th century England and centers on a “fairy doctor” named Lydia. Her life takes a 180-degree turn when she meets a legendary blue knight count named Edgar, and his crew. He hires her as an adviser during his quest to obtain a treasured sword that was supposed to be handed down to him by his family. (ANN)

Summary
This is the sequel to Nodame Cantabile, focusing on the Paris arc where the main character continued to improve their musical artistry.

At a top music academy in Japan, Shinichi Chiaki’s arrogance is matched only by his top-notch piano playing. But when Chiaki and the teacher get into a fight, he’s demoted to the reject class. Chiaki is left to pursue his dream of being a conductor while surrounded by a bunch of loser musicians and one annoying girl, Noda, who has proclaimed herself Chiaki’s girlfriend. Summary
A sequel to the recently wrapped anime based on the Key Clannad franchise. After Story is a path that opens in the original visual novel after all the other paths have been opened. (ANN)

Tomoya Okazaki is a third year high school student resentful of his life. His mother passed away from a car accident when he was younger, causing his father to resort to alcohol and gambling. This results in fights between the two until Tomoya’s shoulder is injured in a fight. Since then, Tomoya has had distant relationships with his father, causing him to become a delinquent over time. While on a walk to school, he meets a strange girl named Nagisa Furukawa who is a year older, but is repeating due to illness. Due to this, she is often alone as most of her friends have moved on. Boy, my day is just getting better and better. Looks like the 2nd season of the anime will be produced and aired in October. It will be the Paris arc, we definitely need more of Chiaki-sama and Nodame. The Live Action special was brilliant performed by Hiroshi Tamaki and Ueno Juri (one of favorite Jdramas). However, some of the really touching and emotional scenes are missing and was hoping to see them portrayed. Jumping with joy at that moment!

Found a nice family portrait of the Okazaki kazoku, the art style is quite different from anime since it’s produced by  Toei Animation. However, it is still a lovely image of Nagisa and Tomoya  holding little Ushio.
