Awesomeness! It reminds me of their earlier works, doesn’t it scream A.RA.SHI and Typhoon Generation!? The boys are gorgeous as always, especially in the black outfits. The contrast used was fantastic, the colorful and youthful in the first part vs. the dark and mature for the latter. Oh-chan was adorable with that Dragonball Z hair style LOL, Jun-kun and Nino looked quite smexy too.

After all of those ballads last year, this PV is certainly treat. Ohno’s vocals are grand as always, though I was a bit surprise with his and Nino’s high pitched wails. I went LOL each time they were lip-syncing to it. Is autotune extremely popular in Japan now? It sneaked in a few times, mostly for Sho-kun and Aiba. Usage is fine as long as it not abused like certain groups *cough KAT-TUN.*

Kyaa~~ at the historical setting, I absolutely adore the integration, being a history freak. :P I wonder if this is the same one used in the movie. Though, I enjoyed the MS performance better, the boys are still handsome here. Jun-kun’s jacket adds a lovely touch of color to the PV. For some reason, Ohno reminds of a monk LOL…it’s probably the beads, but still nice.

Overall, this ballad is beautiful, quite bittersweet and emotional. I love the ending:

You can tell that I’m a sucker for angst love. ;) Everyone has been complaining about the title of the song — where is the snow or it’s too early for Christmas? I do not believe this is for white fluff, but holds a deeper meaning, a metaphor. Snow probably symbolizes purity, innocence and virtue. The Ooku certainly is a place without these characteristics. No matter if it houses men or women, the place is tainted with greedy, hatred, and lust. I haven’t gone a chance to read the manga yet, but am positive that Mizuno Yunoshin (portrayed by Nino) and the shogun (played by Shibasaki Kou) do not have clean slates — hidden secrets, dark past, etc. It is possible that their encounter is life changing and invigorating.

I really like this one especially the set and the costumes (yeah I have a thing for clothing fringes lol). Doesn’t it reminds you of A Series of Unfortunate Event? You know the movie with the fabulous Jim Carrey, probably the atmosphere of the PV — dim lighting and color scheme. Though, the PV is very Truth-esque, it still has its own uniqueness. May I say that Nino looks smexy with that hair style? :)

Utterly cute and brilliant, ne?! Love the artistic and imaginative aspect, as well as, the dorky and genki Arashi. It also reminds me of the silly little things that the boys have done on AnS and the Honey & Clover anime opening. Simply beautiful and sweet, the colors used are gorgeous – earth tones with tads of red and purple. Very autumn-like, ne? ^^ The story associated with the PV was so heartwarming, I got a bit teary when Aiba-chan’s read the letter left behind from their mother. One can tell from the interactions between the brothers that they are close, much like Arashi in real life. Purely adorable! ^^

I’ve seen bits and pieces of the PV, however, not the full version until now. Its beautiful, the atmosphere is quite different from their previous PVs.
