Happy Mother’s Day

d03
Mom’s smiles can brighten any moment,
Mom’s hugs put joy in all our days,
Mom’s love will stay with us forever
and touch our lives in precious ways…

The values you’ve taught,
the care you’ve given,
and the wonderful love you’ve shown,
have enriched my life
in more ways than I can count.

I Love you Mom!

What my mother has taught me….

I had this in drafts for a long time, decided to post it today. Had found this a while ago, it’s surreal but quite amusing.

I’ve always tried to listen to my mommy’s lessons…well, sometime, maybe. Don’t we all! Still love her dearly though.

1. TO APPRECIATE A JOB WELL DONE.
“If you’re going to kill each other, do it outside. I just finished cleaning.”

2. RELIGION.
“You better pray that will come out of the carpet.”

3. TIME TRAVEL..
“If you don’t straighten up, I’m going to knock you into the middle of next week!”

4. LOGIC.
” Because I said so, that’s why.”

5. MORE LOGIC.
“If you fall out of that swing and break your neck, you’re not going to the store with me.” Continue reading “What my mother has taught me….”

Happy April, minna-san!

Hope everyone had a fun and enjoyable April Fool’s. Bet you got tricked, I did too. Twice to be exact, but it was all good , especially when spring is here. When the days become longer and seedlings start to sprout, doesn’t it bring a smile? Yep, I’m in a happy mood today, had finished filing my 2008 taxes and owed lesser than expected. :up I’m sure that would bring joy to anyone. Since I have a few bucks left, decided to treat myself to some Arashi goodies. Hehe…here’s what I purchased:

I’m going to be sooo spoiled this month, CHO excited for Jun-kun and Sho-kun’s dramas, which will be airing in Japan soon. There is already a few fansubbing teams that have added them to their project lists. *bow* So grateful for their fabulous subbing and hardwork!! Along side with Smile and The Quiz Show, the following look very promising:

Just looked at the Spring anime lineup, I am a bit disappointing story-wise, there are not many appealing ones. Though, I may consider Eden of the East (has quite an intriguing storyline and art is drawn by the same mangaka as Honey and Clover, had adored this series) and Ristorante Paradiso (always enjoyed the slice-of-life genre, a bit curious about this one).

Happy Spring, everyone!!
