Heya! I live in the US and never have been at a live event before, really wish I could and envy all fans that had attend. :D However, the precious clips are available on DVD which I had purchased. The Gyafuku performance is available on NeoRomance Festa Haruka Matsuri 2008 DVD. It had cost me an arm, and a leg :( , but it was still worth every penny. ;)

I haven't watch the Weiss Kreutz clips though, but I've heard of some of their songs. Shadows Light and Tomorrow are quite nice.

Hehe..you too, who doesn't love young, handsome, courageous, kind and stylish men?! *nosebloods* My list of favorite bishes keeps growing and growing, I bet yours is the same. ;)

You're welcome. I agree that it might be overwhelming since my actual historical figures are protrayed in Koutestu, but I think it's still a good watch with limited knowledge.

Hehe...I believe most of the heroines in Otome related games/anime can be classified as damsel in distress and the bishes are always looking out for her. There's nothing wrong with this, however, I would like one that can stand up for herself like Ko Shurei from Saiunkoku Monogatari. She is intelligent and willing to give you a piece of her mind when needed. :) BTW this is an extremely good anime and recommended if you haven't given it a try. :)

Yorihisa's ending is a favorite of mine too. I love his silence and protective nature toward Miko-dono. It shows how important Akane is to him...he is content with just being by her side and as along as, she is happy, he is. Ah, he is so wonderful, don't we all wish we had a Yorihisa in real life? ;)

You can watch Naruto Shippudden with subs and original voices via Hulu.com (free service). I'm not sure if it's available after your region, but do give it a try.

Same here, this is why Miki-sama is my ichiban, his voice is way too smexy to be compared to anyone else. :D

Hehe..don't we all have a way too many favorite mangas/anime/novels? I read all genres as well and quite hard to just pick one too, but mine mostly lay with shonen. So here are my lists:

Shonen: One Piece, Saraiya Goyou, Code Geass, Gundam 00, Blood+, Darker than Black, Macross Frontier, Naruto Shippuuden, Clannad After Story, Durarara, Ga-Rei, Nijuu Mensou no Musume, Death Note, Hunter x Hunter, Sengoku Basara, Spice and Wolf, Rurouni Kenshin, Saraiya Goyou, Hanasaku Iroha, Slam Dunk, Escaflowne, Summer Wars, and Tiger & Bunny.

Yaoi/shounen ai: Haru wo Daiteita, Doushitemo Furetakunai, Seven Days, Viewfinder, Yami no Matsuei, Mirage of Blaze, No. 6, Togainu no Chi, Loveless, Ai no Kusabi, Koi Suru Boukun and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi.

Shoujo/Josei: Nodame Cantabile, Nana, Saiunkoku Monogatari, Gokusen, Kimi wa Pet, Honey & Clover, Itazura na Kiss, Can't Lose You, Hapi Mari, Kimi ni Todoke, Skip Beat!, Kiniro no Corda, Hakuouki, Harukanaru Toki no Naka de, Hana yori Dango, Ouran HS Club, Usagi Drop, Higashi no Eden, Itadakimasu and Hana ni Arashi.

Phew, that was a mouthful LOL Anyway, I still need to read Uragiri, have hear of good things about it. :) Koori no mamono no monogatari and Code Breaker are nice to me, they appear to be interesting and will give them a try. I'm presently reading Amatsuki, Otodama, One Piece, Koi Suru Boukun and Saraiya Goyou. :)

I always admire those who formally study a language especially Japanese, only have the basic here too. Ganbatte, kan-chan! :D

ucky you!!!That you can be at an happening like that, but do you live in Japan or near Japan? i live at the other side of the world...
Ah I've forgotten Towa no rasen, although I prefer Gyafuku ( expecially the text) and Believe in Heaven. I'vent already watched Weiss Kreutz so I don't know very well the song associated with this anime.
Yes I've read that Koutestu is a losely ( and as long as you go ahead with the episodes it became more and more losely ;)) adaptation of the "Romance of three kingdoms" and thank you for the link. It's quite hard to understand the names and some parts of the plot without an, at last basic, knowledge of this romance.
I think that to develop a festish for young, beautifull, courageous, proud, kind, wonderflully dressed and carefull swordmen is no a such strange thing ;)
I watched some of the alternative endings of Harukana...and the one with Yorihisa is my favourite altough neither Chizuru (for hakuoki) nor Miko-dono are very smart girls :)
I'm looking for english subs for Naruto, altough I prefer the sedictive voice and way to speak of Miki-san I really apperciate the Inoue-san's voice versatility.
What are my favourite manga? It's hard to give a short answer because I like a lot of manga for a bunch of different reasons :)
Well I think that the number one in my shounen ai ( and also shounen) list is "Koori no mamono no monogatari", a long, very long manga by Sugiura Shiou
I also love Yami no matsuei altough it's still unfinished and has some faults ( too many things unexplained).
I like Uragiri (Uraboku), because it is slowly going to be a subtext shounen-ai very funny (in some parts almost crazy) XD
I'm reading Code braker and Loveless and I'm reading also a "old" manga, Tokyo babylon. And I like them.
You can say that my favourite genre is shounen (eventually shounen ai) with some hints of fantasy( magic and youkai but not too much of them), I like Historic also, but I've not a strong knowledge of japanese history (not to say chinese one...), although I became familiar with names like Date Masamune, Takeda, Shingen, Kenshin etc.
I also like light novels but It's very hard to find them in english (at last in english altough it isn't my native language). Now I'm reading Ghost Hunt, Mirage of Blaze (a deep dive in Sengoku-related japanese history XD), No.6.
well what about you? ;)
And well I also like many many anime.
I'm studing japanese ( but I'am ad a very basic level) so...
Ja ne!

Heya! Thanks for the wishes, I hope your new year has been wonderful so far! :D

My pleasure, Gyafuku and Arrival are certainly wonderful songs, both of my ultimate favorites. Miki-sama had performed Gyafuku live at a Haruka event a few years ago and it was certainly something not to be missed. It was such an astonishing performance, I had watched it 23222454354 times and still couldn't get enough of it. :D Truly a rare and beautiful treat! Besides these two, my latest obsession is with Owaranai Yume no Naka de and I.D.E.A. ~Boku wa mainichi, yume o miru~. Both are upbeat and catchy, they seem to provide me energy when doing housework on the weekends. LOL Believe in heaven is another great one. Miki-sama really needs to release his own album, there are just too many fabulous songs out there that we need to find...I probably be the first to pre-order it. ;)

I haven't got a chance to watch Koutetsu Sangokushi yet, but am intrigued since the cast is quite expectational and historical aspect (my never-ending for it LOL). It appears to be a very loose adaption of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms which is quite a lengthy piece of work. But if you're interested in the timeline used for the story, there is a nice mini summary at China-Mike.

Hehe, don't we all love Toshi and Yorihrisa!! Though, they are quite serious when performing their duties, they have a gentle and caring side which can be cute at times. :) I think I've developed a serious fetish for men with swords/guns, who can resist them?! xD

If you get a chance, please do what Naruto in Japanese, Inoue-san's Kakashi is just too heavenly. XD Lately, I have been become quite fond of the non-canon KakaSaku pairing. Of course, not at their current ages, maybe when Sakura is older and in her twenties. I don't see a problem at that time since Naruto and Sasuke are just two busy catching one another. Just my two cent. :D

If you don't mind, what are your favorite manga? I'll discuss mine later since I don't want to bore you out with another essay! LOL

Mata, ne! :)

Hey kan-chan. It's no problem, your comments are welcome on any post. ;) I also apologize for not getting back to you sooner, have been hectic with work and other things. Miki-sama remains active in BL dramas, the most recent one released is Haru wo Daiteita CD drama 9. I haven't gotten a chance to listen to any yet and still saving to purchase some of them. :) You can find a list of his old ones at Moon Flower. Have fun! :D

Hello and sorry for the delay but I've lost the link to this forum and only just now I found thata link following a search about Gyafuku song.
Thanks for Arrival I really like it both the lyric and the song. Among the jpop songs (and Miki-san ones) I also like "Believe in heaven".
Just now I'm watching Koutestu Sangokushi. In this anime there are both Inoue-san and Miki-san in the cast. I like it but it's quite diffcult to follow for me because it has strong connections with the chinese literature that I don't know very well.
Among Miki-san characters I also like the samurai Yorihrisa ( Harikana no naka de) and, obviuosly, Hijikata form Hakuoki (Altought I'ven't yet saw the whole anime).
Among the other Seyuu I know and appreciate Yun Fukuyama ( first saw in "Ghost Hund"), Namikawa Daisuke I love Baka Prince ;). I also know Daisuke Ono for Black Butler.
Other seyuus I like (and by chance they are in the Koutetsu cast) are Junichi Suwabe (Shirogane in Monochrome Factor and Matoba-san in Natsume) and Takehito Koyasu (Takahiro Giouh in Uragiri, he's also my favourite Uragiri character). About Morikawa, well I apprecoate him in KKmaou, although I'm quite doubtfull about Conrand...
And yes I meant Gunter not Gwendal XD. Speaking of Inoue-san Although I saw some episodes of naruto series ( alot of..), I watched them in my native language dubb so I wasn't able to apperciate the original seyuus , the same with Samurai 7 that I saw you put in your A+ list ;)

Well happy new year and Happy Blogiversary!!

Heya kan-chan!

Woot another Miki-sama fan!! :D I absolutely adored him after watching Bleach many, many moons ago. Though, he did not become my ultimate fave until about a year ago, shame on me LOL. I blame his fabulous roles as Toshi and Lockon for my obsession LOL , but I agree that most of his characters are love. XD I wrote a little post regarding my beloved not too long ago, it can be found here if you're interested.

As for Inoue-sensei, do you mean Günter from KKM? :) His portray was certainly awesome and hilarious. I was lucky enough to have seen a KKM event which he had performed live with the other cast members and loved him even more. Unfortunately, I do not recall much of Fruits Baskets and need to re-watch, I was a younglet then and didn't care much about seiuyuu at that time. :P I also like his Tomomasa from Harukanaru, Nyanko-sensei from Natsume Yuujinchou, and Ibaragi Soutetsu from Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto. However, Kakashi remains unraveled as the number one stop on my list. :D

Same here for Morikawa-san, his role of Iwaki-san didn't really make an impact on me until after my third watch of Haru wa Daitata. Though, the OVA does no justice to the series, it's still entertaining with two of brilliant seiyuus. Have you heard of Arrival? It's a duet between Iwaki-san and Katou and absolutely amazing. You can find it here. His roles as Kurosaki Isshin from Bleach, Fang Li Ren from Hanasakeru Seishounen and Conrad from KKM are equally as wonderful.

Other seiyuus that I liked which did not make it to the top 5 cut include Fukuyama, Jun (Lelouch from Code Geass), Morita Masakazu (Barnaby from Tiger & Bunny), Ono Daisuke (Shizuo from Durarara!!), Kishio Daisuke (Azuma from La Corda), Kiuchi Hidenobu (Hei from Darker than Black) and Namikawa Daisuke (Baka prince from Level E).

Happy holidays and happy new year to you as well! XD
