Sweet Drops by Puffy

I had finished the anime, Usagi Drop, in mid-November and forgotten about how enjoyable its opening theme was, Sweet Drops by PUFFY. It appears that the song was added to my mp3 player, but, not to the playlist. Thus, I never was able to play it until now, talking about being a ditz. LOL

I found myself humming happily to it last night, its upbeat melody provided such a positive and uplifting atmosphere. The composition consist of light acoustics along with the meaningful lyrics, it certainly makes this a cute and fluffy song.

The anime itself was delightful to watch, had finished it within two days. The series revolves around a six year-old child taken by a thirty year-old bachelor due to complicated circumstances. As the single parenthood story progressed, it illustrated their daily interactions, how their relationship develops and coping with complex issues. It’s truly a heartwarming little tale and highly recommended to any Josei and/or slice-of-life fans

So here is my favorite of the week (thinking of posting something like this every week now, we’ll see ):

New fanlistings acquired

About a month ago, I had adopted two Jdrama related fanlisting from J&R butterfly, and haven’t gotten a chance to advertise them. Tatta Hitotsu no Koi and Stand Up! are both which I adore and was quite excited when my application was selected.

The layouts are nothing fantastic, just something that was whipped up within a few hours. They will be kept intact for the time being, I’ll make changes when more time is at hand. So here are the two new fanlisting, click on the images to be forwarded to the sites:

Matsumoto Jun – Lucky Seven CM

Has everyone seen the CM for Jun-kun’s new drama, Lucky Seven — very intriguing and promising, ne!

Jun-kun as a boxer/detective is XD, especially with his shirt off! *faints* Matsushima-san looks quite pretty and the rest of the cast members are a delight.

BTW, I just realized that both Jun-kun and Eita had previously starred in Kimi wa Petto! Wow, that brings back memories and they had so little screen time together. I cannot wait to see the new interactions between them on a more mature level.

I.D.E.A. ~Boku wa mainichi, yume o miru~ by RoST

Out of the blue, my brother had asked for information about Mega Man and off I went searching. To my surprise, a Youtube clip associated with RoST had appeared via my Google search, I knew that my beloved Miki-sama was associated with the act…could they be same?! Kyaa~~ and yes, yes, it was truly them. XD

RoST (紳士的好色三人組) is a seiyuu group consist of Miki Shinichiro, Ishikawa Hideo, and Kasahara Rumi. I am not positive of the reasons to why the group was born, might have been for a series or something else (Do drop me a note if you have any ideas, I would love to know. ) However, for the short life span of the act, they had produced many wonderful and lovable songs.

I.D.E.A. ~Boku wa mainichi, yume o miru~ is the ending theme for Mega Man X6. The music is quite upbeat and catchy causing me to hum along with it as the piece was played continuously via my WMP. The vocals were executed beautifully by the three seyiuus, even the rap performed by Miki-sama. which I found delightful. Now, now you probably think I believe that all things touched by him are gold, which they are not, but this one certainly is! I absolutely adore his energetic performance. XD Also, the lyrics are quite inspirational — being able to dream every day and aiming to succeed them. Definitely wonderful, ne?!
