Matsumoto Jun – Preview of 24HRTV drama on ZoomIn

Found a new clip regarding the new 24HrTV drama which Jun-kun will star in. Love his new hairstyle, kind of Bambino-ish, which suits him very well. He looks fabulous in a suit; well, he looks great in any suit! Karina and the little girl are adorable together, they look like a sweet family.

This is definitely going to be a tear-jerking, preparing a box full of tissues by my side since I’m such a crybaby…probably will be the only one! Soo psyched, just cannot wait to see it!

Matsumoto Jun – To be starring in a new drama special for 24HourTV

Some exciting news! Yay!! It has been announced Jun-kun will be starring in a drama special for the 24 hour tv. I’ve been waiting to see him in a drama for a while now (something besides a manga character role), soo happy this has been confirmed.

The title of the special is Myuu no Anyo Papa ni Ageru (I will give papa Myuu’s legs). It is based on a true story of 25 year old (Yamaguchi Hayato), his wife and 2 year old daughter, Myuu.

The wife role will be portrayed by Karina; this will be her 2nd time co-starring along side with Jun-kun, the first was in Bambino.

Yamaguchi is a patient who Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP). This illness is incurable and affects every one in a 100,000. More info can be found here.

This might be a very challenging role for Jun-kun, since CIDP is quite chronical. From my readings, as it progressively, the patient would be immobile both in the arms and legs. He may also experience breathing problem. Quite a sad drama, suits well for the 24 Hour TV theme.

Jun-kun is an incredible and versatile actor, I am sure this will be one awesome, tear-jerking drama!  I wonder where in the world he find time to film this, isn’t he on a HYD Final promo tour now? Poor thing needs to get some rest, ganbatte Jun-kun! Definitely looking forward to the performance.

Myuu no Anyo Papa ni Ageru to be aired on August 30th. Yay, Jun-kun’s birthday!!

Matsumoto Jun + Teacup Poodle = Love

Just couldn’t resist, I had to watch this episode of Himitsu no Arashi-chan without any subs. …and yes, I am very behind, it’s certainly hard being an Arashi fan overseas. Anyway, I’m quite surprised that it was easy to comprehend with my limited knowledge of the Japanese language. The episode was extremely enjoyable. The exposure of rare and unique animals was a delight, especially when Jun-kun handled the giant bunny and tiny teacup poodle along side with Ohno wanting to overfeed the monkey. I don’t recall who gently hit our innocent Captain on the head for showing his baka-ness, that was just adore. Love being Momoified!! heart1.gif
