Happy 19th Anniversary, FT Island!!

It’s been ages since I have listened to F.T. Island songs, but I came across Lee Hong-gi’s Youtube channel where he was singing Severely, which is one of my favorite songs. I was stunned by how beautiful his vocal has aged, it’s god-like now. Sorry Oh-chan, you are amazing too. Happy 19th Anniversary to them! I know they have been through a lot.

F.T. Island’s I Hope

Happy February, minna-san! I cannot believe January passed by so fast. Today, I’m going to share one of my favorite F.T. Island‘s song, which is I Hope. This is from their 3rd Korean album, Cross & Change. Despite it’s upbeat and catchy melody, its lyrics are sad and emotional. Lee Hong Ki’s vocals are quite impressive as always. It’s been a while since I listened to them and this brings back memories when I first found them through Hong Ki.

FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki Is Beaming In First Photos Since Military Enlistment

FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki is looking happy and healthy in his first photos from the military!
On November 6, Lee Hong Ki took to his personal Instagram account to share photos with the caption, “Salute! I love you! Is everyone doing well?”
In the photos, Lee Hong Ki has a bright smile on his face as he hugs his mother in one photo, and he gives a salute to the camera with others in the second photo.

On September 30, Lee Hong Ki became the first member of FTISLAND to enlist and he has since shared a heartfelt letter with fans that was released in October. Lee Hong Ki is set to serve as an active-duty soldier after completing basic training.

It’s been a while since I heard news about Hong-ki, glad he’s doing well in the military. He looks so healthy and full of life. So handsome in uniform, ne?! XD

The last drama I saw of him was I Hate You Juliet. It was cute and fluffy, but I prefer Hong-ki in series with more substance and better writting. Hopefully he will be able to star one after military. A Korean Odyssey, which stars Lee Seung‑gi, Oh Yeon‑seo and him, was quite enjoyable, nice dose of fantasy and romance.
