Woot, Hakuoki PSP released today

Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom

Kyaa~~ I cannot tell you how psyched I am that Hakuoki PSP is being released today in North America. I’ve been an avid fan for almost 1 1/2 year now and cannot get my hand on an actual copy. You now know where my time will be spent for the next several weekends. Thank you soo soo much, Aksys Games for doing an awesome job on the localization.

I had ordered via Amazon, they will be sending the shipping tomorrow. I have no complaints and willing to twirl my fingers in the mean time. It can also be purchased at GameStop, please do give the game a try, I’m sure that you wouldn’t regret. Hopefully the sales will be promising so another similar game will be released by them.

Oh btw, Mandrarke finally had a Hijikata Toshizo figure for a reasonable price. I was able to snatch it from them, have been eyeing for one for ages now. It’s being shipped as I am typing this! *little happy dance* You can view a few images of him here, isn’t he so smexy?! ❤❤

Ring A Bell by Bonnie Pink

Just started playing Tales of Vesperia a few days ago and have become addicted to the game. This would be third installment added to my Tales series collection along side with Abyss and Symphonia. With its complex character, impressive story, fun battles and awesome soundtrack, I know that my next few weekends will be immersed into the fiction world of Terca Lumireis.

In additional to the wonderful gameplay, the opening theme is a beautiful one sang by Japanese singer-songwriter, Bonnie Pink. The composition is upbeat and energetic which harmonizes lovely with the singer’s smooth vocals. The lyrics are quite fitting to the adventure and the relationship between main characters, especially Yuri Lowell. There is also a Japanese counterpart which was written/translated afterwards, however, it is not as memorable or as strong as the original one.

Ring a Bell

Original Composition: Bonnie Pink
Arrangement: Burning Chicken
Lyrics: Bonnie Pink
Vocals: Bonnie Pink

Reaching up for no man’s land
To take a breath and take a chance
I walk a thousand nights to change the world
Where to go? When to stop?
Who to trust? What to say?
I found them all, just need someone to share

It’s now in the dusk every day to everyone
Ain’t so strong, I ain’t so strong to go on
Living in the past is not the way to live
I wish you could hear me say that I miss you

Why were we there back to back?
Why were we there face to face?
I must be the light when you’re in the dark
If you lose me somewhere, and your tears are in the air
I will ring a bell until you feel me by your side

Looking up into the sky, looking for the reason
Why I’m here, and why you can’t be here
Who’s to hate? Who’s to blame?
Who’s to hurt? Who’s to love?
Who decides? Why can’t we be the same?

Trying to believe walking down the lonesome road
Ain’t so far, I ain’t so far from you
Staying the way you are means solitude
I wish you were here and shook off my fear

Why were we there back to back?
Why were we there face to face?
I must be the light when you’re in the dark
If I lose you somewhere, and I’m still hanging in there
I will ring a bell until you feel me by your side

What has been in the mix too long?
There’s the peace when you’re at war
Heads or tails, you and I
Light and dark, ups and downs
What is there in the middle? What’s there to divide us?
If you’re hurt, cry and say, “Can’t you see you’re my other half?”

Why were we there back to back?
Why were we there face to face?
I must be the light when you’re in the dark
If you lose me somewhere, and your tears are in the air
I will ring a bell until you feel me by your side

Hakuoki is being localized in North America!!

source: zerochan.net

I was just catching up on my gaming news and OMG, I came across this. Kyaa~~~and with Japanese voiceovers, my day simply cannot get any better.

I just needed to flair since this is one of my favorite games, simply love the Shinsengumi/Hijikata Toshizo and the Edo period. Never in a million years I would have thought a US publisher would release Hakuoki here, they certainly made an awesome choice. THANK YOU SOO MUCH, Aksys Game!

Now let’s hope that sales exceed exceptional (I’m sure that there are plenty of American fans out there) and another otome game would be localized, maybe Harukanaru Toki no Naka de or Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side….

Final Fantasy Dissida Intro/Opening

Happy September, everyone!! peas2

I cannot wait to get my hands on a copy, still waiting since I want like to finish FFVIII first. I had started this about about three weeks ago after completing the FFVII. Probably in a few weeks or so if I’m not too busy.

Extremely awesome and definitely epic. Love the character designs, mostly like will get the artbook/ultimania that accompanies it.

Persona 3 PSP to be released

This is quite exciting, Persona 3 will be going to PSP! This is release, it will have a new heroine along with a female version of Orpheus and male one of Elizabeth. I’m guessing you have a choice between the gender of your protagonist, which is awesome. I wonder if there will be male version of Takeba Yukari, Kirijo Mitsuru, and Yamagishi Fuuka. Guess it’s no biggie since you have the choice of Iori Junpei, Sanada Akihiko and a few others for boyfriends if you choose the female protagonist. We’ll just have to wait and see.

The game will be released in Japan on 11/01/2009, nothing announced for North America yet. For more details visit Famitsu.

Persona 3 PSP opening:
It’s quite hard to top Burn my Dread, maybe I just need some time to get use too. Otherwise, the clip was very cool.
