It’s been a while since I updated and still kicking…been going through many things lately in life — social distancing/Coronavirus, and personal/career/health issues. Moving forward one-step at a time now, getting better and better.
Recently, I was checking out a few recent videos from Niki 妮奇’s Youtube channel, been a follower of hers since stumbling upon one of her Chen Qing Ling/The Untamed reaction videos. She is not only an avid boy’s love (BL) manga/series fan from Taiwan, but loves Chen Qing Ling to bits, read the Mo Dao Zu Shi novel ages ago. I enjoy watching fans who had read the original source, they always provide insight/analysis on topics that might be missed by non-readers.
Any who…Niki’s recent clips outlined her favorite Thai BL dramas of 2019 and off I wandered into the Thai dramaland…. XD I needed something else to be obessed about besides Chen Qing Ling.
Now I present to you 2gether The Series starring Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn and Bright Vachirawit Chivaaree. I am only half way into the drama, but enjoying every moment of it.
So far, I found the acting in the drama to be very natural and the chemistry between the leads to be fabulous, especially Tine and Sarawat, our stars respectively. Though, there are some scenes that seem to have been taken from a middle school play or the acting is subpar by the supporting characters, however, I should not judge upon its cover. This is my first look into Thai drama, it might be how they execute scenes. You might feel the same if you have watched Asian dramas for a while now. We just need some time to get use to.
The 2gether story might also be cliched to some — pretend-to-be-my-boyfriend to becoming-the-actual-boyfriend. Though, I found it to be a sweet pure love story. XD It’s been a while since I seen anything without a complicated storyline/plot. There are times we just something to enjoy and smile about without any hurtles. Did I mention that the cast is quite handsome, especially the leads?! ❤
I adore both Tine and Sarawat, but like the latter a bit more. He is quite the boyfriend/husband material such as buying this and that or just being there for his significant other. Tine is cute as a button, but can be a tsundere and dumb-as-a-doorknob at times. lol Together, they are an amazing pair. ❤
Another favorite aspect of 2gether is the music by Scrubb, which is an actual band in real-life. Not sure if the characters in the drama sang any of the songs or just lip-synced to them in the series, but they sound wonderful.

I’ll discuss more of the series once it is completed. I recommended this to anyone that is looking for something new to watch, there is 13 episodes long and subtitled in most languages on GMMTV’s Youtube channel.
