Definitely, very exciting news! It’s awesome that Arashi will be able to perform at a prestigious music event along with various of artists, including SMAP. Maybe we’ll to see some sempai-kouhai action here; mostly likely from the Nakai, who will be MCing here. Hopefully, the boys will be able to attend the Johnny’s countdown as well, don’t see why they wouldn’t since TOKIO goes to both from the previous years.

On a side note, I’m wondering why NYC boys will be attending this, don’t believe their sales record is superior. Are they really popular in Japan? The group consists of Yamada Ryosuke and Chinen Yuri from Hey Say Jump along with Nakayama Yuma with B.I.Shadow, which only debuted a few month ago. One would believe another sempai group be invited such as V6 or Kinki Kids instead, this is very questionable. On the other hand, Johnny’s Jimusho is very hard to predict; we’ll just have to wait and see.
