Aiba Masaki – To be starring in a new butai

Yay, finally some news about Aiba, which has been lacking this year. He will be starring in a butai the beginning of 2009, it’s title is Green Fingers 「グリーンフィンガーズ」. Glad he is doing something special this coming year; only seen his acting in a few movies, but its superior. Here’s to hoping that he will surprise us with a drama as well. The dates of the shows are as follows:

Tokyo – February 23 to March 10
Osaka – March 20 to March 23

I did further digging and found some information on the story, appears to have been inspired by real events.

Happy 10 Year Anniversary, Tamaki-kun!

It has been a while since I had seen or read anything about Tamaki-kun. I guess my recent obsession of Arashi and Jun-kun had taken over. I do miss seeing him in dramas; the last one seen was Remote, where he portrayed the geeky, yet adorable Shingo. Absolutely loved him as Chiaki-sama in Nodame Cantabile and Kensuke-kun in Top Caster. Out of curiosity last night, I went searching on Wikipedia for more information and noticed that Tamaki-kun’s had debuted in 1998 – acting-wise. I believe he played a small role in Am I Weird? Not certain of all details, more research would be required. This could be a belated wish, it really doesn’t manner. Omedetou gozaimasu, Tamaki-kun!

Arashi – Beautiful Days PV

This is such a lovely song, upbeat yet sad. Its lyrics holds such a meaningful and touching message, as expected from Arashi. This is one of the reasons, why they continue to be my ichiban band.

I’ve seen bits and pieces of the PV, however, not the full version until now. Its beautiful, the atmosphere is quite different from their previous PVs.
