Kyaa~~three of my favorite JE groups are going to be together on MS! Me thinks this will be one epic and “chaotic” episode. LOL

I cannot wait to see how SMAP is going to fanboy over Arashi like they did over the La La La performance many years ago. Maybe there will also be a Nakai-Ohno war, that would be truly awesome. **Boy I really miss Utaban! TOKIO is going crazy and wild as ever, those dorky sempais! LOL

Arashi’s new album sells 275,000 copies on first day

Boy band Arashi released a new album on Wednesday, titled “Boku no Miteiru Fuukei.” In its first day of sales, fans bought 275,000 copies, setting a new personal record for the group. Last year, their “All the BEST! 1999-2009” collection set their previous record with 261,000 copies in its first day. That album went on to sell 753,000 copies within the first week, so many are hoping to see “Boku no Miteiru Fuukei” break that record as well.

Arashi’s last original album was “Dream A live” in 2008. Since then, they have released several hit singles, including “Monster” and “Troublemaker,” which both sold more than half a million copies in their first weeks.

Sugoiiii!! I cannot believe the sales are so good and even had surpassed the first day for All the BEST! It’s probably going to be a quintuple crown this year?! Omedetou to those dorky five!!

I had an opportunity to preview the album last night and it was such a hit for me. I absolutely ♥♥ Mada Ue Wo, Refrain and Kagero, love the variety of melodies and mature lyrics. This certainly displays how Arashi has grown and how versatile they have become. Though, their solos have not been listened to, there is a feeling that Ohno’s will be loved. His gorgeous vocals always seems to amaze me. XO

Ohoku’s themesong and extended trailer

Japanese film “Oooku” has just selected Arashi’s song “Dear Snow” to be the theme song for the film. This is not surprising due to the main actor in the film being Arashi’s own Ninomiya Kazunari, but is great news for Arashi fans none the less.

The film is about an alternate universe Japan in the Edo era where all of the male population is affected with a mysterious disease that forces the society to become matriarchal. Based on the manga of the same name, it draws upon aspects of gender role reversals to make a stunning semi-historical drama. Nino will be starring opposite female lead Kou Shibasaki.

At the present time no more details about “Dear Snow” being in the film are known. Arashi’s new album “Boku no Miteiru Fuukei” will be released on August 4th, but “Dear Snow” is not confirmed as a track on the album at this time.

What a nice surprise! I was certain that the themesong would be performed by another artist. There are no complaints though. I’m really curious to see what the song will be, I’m sure the lyrics will be something very meaningful.

Aaah~ the movie looks so amazing!! XD Did you see Nino’s almost smooch scene? That nearly killed me. LOL This adaption certainly looks brilliant along with its stunning cast, I really wish that October will arrive soon! **Reminds self to finish reading the two volumes of the manga that are laying the shelf.
