Arashi thoughts on Troublemaker

Arashi (嵐)’s new single “Troublemaker” has been released on March 3rd.
The song “Troublemaker” is used as the theme song of the drama “Tokujo Kabachi(特上カバチ!!)” which is on air now and is starred by Sho Sakurai (櫻井翔).

The music video is glittering, with a colorful positive atmosphere in it. “If you listen to this song once, it will come into your head immediately. From second time, you will be able to sing it…it’s a cheerful song!” commented by Masaki Aiba (相葉雅紀). This song was first sang on their concert in February, and naturally made all fans dancing together.

Jun Matsumoto (松本潤) indicated that he loved the refreshing intro part with strings. Kazunari Ninomiya (二宮和也) also announced loudly: “I like this song very much!”

Another song “Yurase Imawo (揺らせ、今を)” has been included as the B-side song, which is being used as the theme song of Vancouver Olympic Games 2010 program on Nippon TV.

In the DVD of the limited edition, a video clip of “Troublemaker” is included, while all six tracks with another B-side song “Mou Ippo(もう一歩)” and original Karaoke for each song are included in the normal edition.

Satoshi Ohno (大野智) said no matter melody A and melody B, he felt good when sing these songs all together. And Sho Sakurai(櫻井翔) was fond of the lyrics especially.

It seems the new single “Troublemaker” is highly evaluated by all members of Arashi. Maybe it will be one of the best pop songs of Arashi ever!

What Aiba-chan had said is so true, once Troublemaker has been played, you have to listen to it a second time! The song has been playing non-stop on my WMP for the past week along with the other two. It’s so upbeat and catchy, doesn’t it just makes you get and dance? ^.^

This was such a fun and genki performance, the set was so colorful and cute. The boys’ clothings were quite nice especially Aiba-chan’s. I believe its a dungaree, you know overalls made of demin.

I loved when they placed their hands on each other’s shoulders and swayed to the beat, mecha adorable ne. I’d watched that a few times and couldn’t stop smiling. The heartbeat moment was kawaii as well. XO

ARASHI Anniversary Tour 5×10 DVD to be released

Happy March, minna-san! ^.^

Kyaa~~ the 5×10 Tour DVD is finally being released! CDJapan is taking preorders now.

Here’s the description:

After 5 x 10 All the BEST! 1999 -2009 and 5 x 10 All the BEST! CLIPS 1999-2009 comes ARASHI Anniversary Tour 5 x 10, the final release in Arashi’s 5X10 tenth anniversary series! 2009 was a year of many records and achievements for Arashi. Other than being the first artist to sweep Oricon’s annual single, album, music DVD, and overall sales charts, Arashi is also the first artist to hold three consecutive concerts at Tokyo’s National Olympic Stadium from August 28 to 39. All together, their nationwide ARASHI Anniversary Tour 5 x 10 attracted 760,000 people!

This ARASHI Anniversary Tour 5 x 10 release records the group’s August 29 concert at the National Olympic Stadium, where they performed a full set of their biggest hits as well as the new songs Attack it! and 5 x 10. The DVD also includes highlights from their August 30 concert and arena tour.

Looks like there will be 2 discs with the following content:

  • Full concert on August 29th
  • Digest version of August 30th and 5 Dome Tours from Sept. 2009 to Jan. 2010

If the digest from the 30th is included, does that mean Jun-kun’s birthday footage can be seen?! I’ll be so happy if it is! Though, it would have been superb if the infamous Matsumiya kiss and when Riida had cried were available too. Guess that would be demanding too much. Let’s all hope that the digest is not too short, something on the length of the AAA 2008 DVD would be fine. It’s their 10th Anniversary for god sakes, please provide us more.
