The Birth of a Drama King (少年江湖物語)

I just started watch this series and love it so far. It is adapted from BL web novel, The Wrong Way to a Demon Sect Leader (论如何错误地套路一个魔教教主), but rather than be lovers, they are brothers. I do not mind the writers changing the relationship between the two leads, as long as, it is modified in a tasteful way. This is the case for The Birth of a Drama King. It is rather a low budget production and pass censorship. Hooray! I will write more about it after I finish the series.

I love the complexity of the characters that weave this amazing tale. We can probably analysis each individual with a book or two, this is how sophisticated and exquisite they are. Overall, WangXian is my favorite characters. Their journey purely began as friendship, which blossomed something more. They are each other’s light, as well as, rely and trust one another without any boundaries. In Lan Zhan’s eyes, it doesn’t matter what form Wei Ying is. As long as it is Wei Ying, he will love, protect and break rules for.

Ossan’s Love Hong Kong Version

So far loving the Hong Kong version of Ossan’s Love, it’s originally a JDrama with the same name, which I watched years ago, starring Tanaka Kei and Hayashi Kento. It’s been n-years since I watched a Hong Kong drama, this remake isn’t disappointing…fun, light-hearted and the leads are adorable.
