I came across this little survey a few days ago, notice the unusual number that it uses. Normally, it would inquiry that your top 5 or 10 to be listed, however, this one has your lucky number 8. Recommended Fanfics: Gokusen – ShinKumi Part 2

It has been almost two years since I become acquainted with Gokusen and I still adore the pairing between Sawada Shin and Yamaguchi Kumiko…just cannot get enough of them. XO I truly hope that Morimoto-sensei will continue their love story and fill the void for us hardcore fans. Though, I am grateful of the short continuation which she had provided so far. The return of Gokusen, more Shinkumi

This year’s 13th issue of Shueisha’s You magazine has announced on Monday that Kozueko Morimoto’s Gokusen high school comedy manga will return in the next two issues, which will ship on July 1 and 15. Morimoto had ended the manga in 2007 after seven years, but she is revisiting the story to mark the July 11 opening of Gokusen the Movie. The movie will serve as the theatrical finale to the three live-action television drama series based on the manga. The upcoming two-part manga side story will center on Kumiko “Yankumi” Yamaguchi — the high school teacher with yakuza ties — and her student Shin Sawada. ~ From ANN

Kyaaa~~~ I cannot tell you how excited and happy I am, Morimoto-sensei! Sawada-kun and Yankumi, such long awaited chapters! Hopefully, their romantic starts to blossom and fill the void from the movie (yes, I’m still a bit disappointed ). Just cannot wait for the first chapter to be released, July is definitely going to be one wonderful month!
