30 Day Anime Challenge – Day 1

Happy May, minna-san!! I know I’ve been lacking posts for some time now, but I am back and decided to do a 30 day photo/image/video challenge for anime. This seems fun, I am sure that I will stumble upon some old favorites. So without further ado…

Day One: Your very first anime

I have only seen the American version back in the 1990s, but I do recall enjoying the episodes with my brother after school each day. We even had a large VHS collection with the first couple of movies. Now-in-days, we’re not much into the anime aspect, but we do play on the new video games which are still interesting.

This is the first opening theme for the U.S. edition, the tune still pretty catchy, however, I think our hero, Ash Ketchum, has not been keeping up with his collection though.

Woohoo, the final post for my Arashi Challenge Month meme! *does a little happy dance* I know that I took my good old time doing this, RL does get in the way sometimes. LOL But I had loads of fun and encourage everyone to do one of these whenever they have the time.

Without a doubt, my OTP from Arashi is JunToshi! XD Their chemistry together is unrivaled, from singing to MC’ing, they are best as a pair. Although, they have no common interests, they get along surprisingly well and bring out the best in one another. They are usually more relaxed and comfortable in each other company. Jun-kun only goes to his DoS mode if Riida has switch on his DoM. LOL These moments are often hilarious, entertaining and cute.

Arashi Challenge Month: Day 29

Day Twenty-Nine – Favorite senpai-kouhai collaboration

I really enjoy when Arashi guest on their sempai’s variety shows or vis versa. It’s pure entertainment when they try to tease one another, you can also see their admiration and respect between the generations. Of all, Utaban has been the one which have I re-watch over and over again. Although, the pranks are scripted, the boys tease Oh-chan along SMAP’s leader, Nakai Masahiro to no end and beyond the norm. On occasions the roles are verse with the help of Ishibashi Takaaki, who is the co-host of Utaban, tagging Oh-chan along since we all know that he will not vocalize his opinions unless spoken to. Their collaborations are always priceless, humorous and pure fun. The program has since retired and such interactions have been few and far between. They have been missed dearly, I truly hope that Arashi will be able to appear on Nakai’s new The Music Hour.
