Arashi in Shanghai

Kyaaa~~ Found some many articles regarding the boy’s last destination of their Arashi in Asia 2008 tour.  Somehow I’m quite excited even though I’m unable to attend their concerts. Mostly likely because this will be a ground-breaking opportunity for them, being the first Johnny’s Entertainment idol group to perform in China. This will probably open the J-pop market wider in China; I’m pretty sure that some will attend an Arashi concert just to see what it is like. Not as a fan, but as an observer. Oh, a Japanese band is performing here, want to go see? Something on these lines…. I have 200% confidence that once you have been exposed, you can never live without Arashi, the same way as I am. Arashi as Ambassadors of JE and Jpop has a nice ring to it, ne?

A press was held for the event, here’s a lovely shot of the boys:

They look so handsome and kakkoii in suits. *love* Wish there was a larger image of this, it’s really a nice one.

Also, found a clip on Tudou.com of their exclusive interview:

Jun-kun said, 我愛你們. He looked so nervous, however, still leader-like. Cute as always, ne! Arashi’s meal time was filmed in the beginning. The boys were munching away at the crabs, that must have been delicious. I wonder if there’s someone very important at the press conference since the boys are in suits. Maybe Johnny-san?

Cannot wait for tomorrow’s articles for the concert photos.

Boy, they sure can eat!! Still cannot believe this had scarfed between 200-300 Xiao Long Bao (小籠包) at one dinner session. They do taste marvelous (always buy a bag or two when I go to Chinatown in Philly), however, I’m usually full after 10 to 12 of them.

The article stated that the boys brought female friends with them to the Xiao Long Bao place, but later it was explained as concert staff members. Anything to add spice, that’s Taiwan and Hong Kong media for you! *brow raises*

Its also really cool that Taiwan celebrities had attended an Arashi concert. Who would have known that they would be familiar with a Jpop group, I’ve would have never thought in a million years. On the other hand, we’re talking about Arashi! Just one contact and you’l love them for life!
