Jun Matsumoto, member of Arashi, announced his departure from STARTO ENTERTAINMENT for solo pursuits starting May 30th. Matsumoto expressed gratitude to fans for their support and shared his determination to shape his own future.

Acknowledging the challenges ahead, he sees independence as an opportunity for creativity and dream realization. He pledges to draw from past experiences and connections to explore new expressions.

Matsumoto reassures fans of his continued commitment to a new stage project in June and maintains his agent contract with STARTO ENTERTAINMENT.

Despite the unexpected announcement, Matsumoto calls for support and positivity as he embarks on this new journey.

I am not surprised that MatsuJun decided to move away from the company since Nino already did previously. It would be good for his career, he will have more freedom and control over his projects. We look forward to his new ventures. I wonder who will be next in Arashi to do so, maybe Riida.

F.T. Island’s I Hope

Happy February, minna-san! I cannot believe January passed by so fast. Today, I’m going to share one of my favorite F.T. Island‘s song, which is I Hope. This is from their 3rd Korean album, Cross & Change. Despite it’s upbeat and catchy melody, its lyrics are sad and emotional. Lee Hong Ki’s vocals are quite impressive as always. It’s been a while since I listened to them and this brings back memories when I first found them through Hong Ki.
