Happy March, everyone!

Yep, the first quarter of 2009 is at its last stretch, I hope everyone had a wonderful and fulfilling February. Aside from the PC troubles, I had a pretty good month.

The Persona 3 journey has been completed including the extension. Though, the ending of the main game was not to my liking, it was quite enjoyable. Persona 4 has been received from Amazon and placed onto my collection, taking a break from this series. On a side note, the Persona series appears to be aiming toward the brighter plot, I had a glimpse of the previous games, they are definitely darker. Not certain if I’ll play on those, but will consider on a later date. Also, had begin playing on Grandia, an older PS classic which my brother had recommended. It’s been funny so far with the clever characters and intriguing plot.

I had the opportunity to re-explore my older fandoms such as Taiwanese opera/歌仔戲. It has been years and years since they were touched, glad that I recently did. I’ve gain a better understanding and respect toward this type of art form, learned to love it even more. Since the stories are usually based on Chinese historical figures and folktales, it provides some educational aspect. Though, the accurate facts may not be performed, it gives me a foundation to where to start researching. Really hope that its culture will continue for younger generations to enjoy.

A fanlisting collective has been on my things-to-do list for ages now, finally had the chance to create one. The layout is quite simple and I was able to accomplished it over a weekend. Will expand on it when I get the chance.

My ones-to-see Jdrama list has doubled in the last month or so, I had the opportunity to finish a few such as Sapuri, Hataraki Man, Anego, Ryuusei no Kizuna, Engine and Tatta Hitotsu no Koi. All were enjoyable; through these, I have gained interested on Kamenashi Kazuya. Of KAT-TUN, I am acquainted with Kame and Akanishi Jin, however, I find Kame a much more versatile and well-rounded actor than Jin. He is quite charming and convincing on-screen, making me intriguing and wanting to see more. Though, Jun portrays his characters accordingly, there is no additional spark that sways me to pursue another of his dramas. Just my cent though.

With that said, wishing everyone a happy, happy month. It’s going to be an exciting with all of the Arashi goodies.
