Arashi to release their first single of 2011 + PV preview

Arashi has announced that they will be releasing their first single for 2011 titled “Lotus” on February 23rd! The song will be the theme song for member, Aiba Masaki’s upcoming drama “Bartender” (will start on February 4th). The full track list for the upcoming single has not been revealed yet, but there will be two different types, a “Limited Edition” and a “Regular Edition.” The “Limited Edition” will include a DVD which consists of a video clip of “Lotus” and the “Regular Edition” will include “Boom Boom” as one of the follow up songs.

The boys looks so gorgeous in white, Jun-kun’s hair had grown a bit too. …and yes, finally a dancing PV, we have been waiting a bit toooo long for one. Looking forward to see this in its entirely and Aiba-chan’s Bartender.

Arashi featured on Nintendo 3DS CMs

The Nintendo 3DS is Nintendo’s newest portable console. It’s all set to be released in Japan on February 26, 2011 for ¥25,000 (approx. $300.57 USD) On January 19th, 2011, Nintendo will hold a press conference where the European release date is expected to be announced. A preview event is to be held the same day in New York City.

The 3DS will be able to produce 3D effects without the need for any special glasses. It will also be backward compatible with the Nintendo DS software and have cards that can hold up to 2GB of game data. The system will support multiplayer gameplay through a local wireless connection.

Also, what is cool, is that it has 3D movie playback capability. I read that Nintendo has made a deal with Warner Bros, Disney and dreamworks.

Oh yes, and Mii’s will be available to use. There will be a new Mii creator on the 3DS, and you will have the ability to import Mii’s from the Wii.

But that is not the best part….. Get ready for it. Johnny’s Entertainment Idol group, Arashi are featured in a CM series advertising the new 3DS. It makes sense since Arashi have been featured in Nintendo CM’s for Wii party in 2010.

All of them are so adorable, they are such dorks! Love their reactions, Ohno’s and Sho-kun’s were my favorites. Jun-kun’s laugh was cute as well. xD
